Where are these events located?
We hold them in various locations around the San Francisco bay area. If you know of a location that would be willing to host us, please let us know!
How do I register?
Each announcement post has a link that you should follow to register for the workshop. Generally we use the SF Ruby Meetup’s registration system.

You can watch this blog, or you can sign up for our low-traffic, announcement-only google group.
Why women-focused?
As of June 2009, the San Francisco Ruby community stood at about 97% men, and 3% women. We’d like to even that out a bit, and one of the ways we’re approaching it is by introducing more women to Ruby.
If you’d like to run a workshop for a more general audience, or for a different under-represented population, we are happy to assist. You can find all our workshop materials on github.
